How to check genuine Thermage, Ultherapy and Rejuran at Mio Clinic
At Mio Clinic you can check the three things visitors ask about most, yourself, on site. Thermage: every patient gets a new tip, and you can scan the QR code on the tip with your phone to confirm it on the official Thermage authenticity page. Ultherapy Prime: tap your phone on the NFC security chip on the unit (Merz "Touch Prime" authentication, no app needed), then scan the transducer's QR code as prompted; a certificate of authenticity is issued after treatment. Rejuran: the sealed vial is opened in front of you.
Thermage — check the tip yourself
- Before treatment, ask to see the new, sealed Thermage tip.
- Scan the QR code on the tip with your phone camera.
- The official Thermage authenticity page (thermage.co.kr) shows whether the tip is genuine.
- The tip is used for your treatment only.
Ultherapy Prime — check the device and transducer
- Tap your phone on the NFC security chip on the Ultherapy Prime unit. A Merz authentication page opens in your browser; no app is needed.
- Follow the on-screen prompt and scan the QR code on the transducer to confirm it is an original Merz transducer.
- After treatment, Mio Clinic issues a certificate of authenticity for your Ultherapy treatment.
Merz Aesthetics Korea introduced this NFC check ("Touch Prime") in March 2026.
Rejuran and other injectables
Rejuran comes in a sealed vial that is opened in front of you. Every injectable on the price list is named by brand (for example Allergan, Xeomin, Dysport or Korean toxin; Juvéderm, Restylane, Belotero or Korean filler), and the brand you choose is the brand you receive.
Ultherapy Prime and Shurink are listed separately
Ultherapy Prime (Merz, USA) and Shurink (Classys, Korea) are both focused-ultrasound lifting devices, but they are different machines with different prices, and Mio's price list shows them as separate items:
