Can foreigners get a VAT refund on treatments at Mio Clinic?

Not at the moment. Korea's VAT refund for foreign visitors' cosmetic medical procedures ran from 2016 and ended on 31 December 2025. Since 1 January 2026 the 10% VAT on aesthetic treatments is charged and is not refunded at the airport. Bills in the National Assembly to bring the refund back have been filed but not passed. Mio Clinic shows every price before VAT so you can see the 10% clearly; multiply by 1.1 for the amount charged.
