What is JUVELOOK Skin Booster?

JUVELOOK is a Korean PDLLA (poly-D,L-lactic acid) + hyaluronic acid collagen-stimulating injectable. It is widely used in Korea for pores and acne scars.

Who is it for?

People with enlarged pores, rolling or boxcar acne scars, fine lines and uneven texture. Often chosen by patients who have 'done Rejuran' and want a stronger texture result.

How does it work?

PDLLA microspheres are injected into the dermis; over 4–8 weeks they stimulate the skin to produce its own collagen, which fills scars and tightens pores. Results last 1–2 years after a course.

Downtime and what to expect

Raised bumps or redness may appear immediately after treatment. These typically subside naturally within 2–3 days.

Aftercare (clinic instructions)

  • While raised bumps remain in the treated area, avoid vigorous rubbing to allow the injected product to settle properly.
  • Apply sufficient moisturizer to support skin recovery. Drinking more water than usual may also help support the treatment’s effects.
  • Always apply sunscreen thoroughly when going outdoors to protect your skin and help prevent pigmentation.
  • Avoid alcohol, saunas, steam rooms, strenuous exercise, and activities that raise body temperature for approximately 1 week.

How many sessions and how often?

A minimum of 3 sessions, spaced 4 weeks apart, is generally recommended to support progressive collagen regeneration.

Planning it into a Seoul trip

This treatment is tagged "last day" at Mio because there is visible redness, marks or swelling for a few days; schedule it on your final day so it fades at home. Numbing cream, when used, adds about 30 minutes; plan 30 minutes plus numbing plus consultation. See the first-day / last-day guide.
