What is Skin Botox?
Very dilute botulinum toxin injected shallowly across the whole face (also called micro-Botox or mesobotox). It smooths fine texture, shrinks pores, reduces oil, and gives a 'glass skin' finish without freezing expressions.
Who is it for?
People with large pores, oily skin, fine surface lines, or who want the smooth 'Korean skin' look. Often added to laser packages.
How does it work?
Micro-droplets act on the tiny muscles attached to pores and the sweat/oil glands in the dermis, tightening the surface and reducing sebum. Results show at 1–2 weeks and last 3–4 months.

Downtime and what to expect
Raised bumps appear at the injection sites immediately after treatment. These typically subside naturally within a few hours.
Aftercare (clinic instructions)
- Avoid vigorously rubbing the treated area or receiving deep-pressure massage there for 1 month to allow the injected product to be absorbed evenly.
- Apply sufficient moisturizer to support skin recovery, and apply sunscreen thoroughly whenever you go outdoors.
- Avoid saunas, steam rooms, strenuous exercise, and activities that raise body temperature for approximately 1 week.
- Avoid alcohol after treatment, as it may trigger inflammation and reduce the treatment’s effectiveness.
How many sessions and how often?
Repeat treatments every 3–4 months are generally recommended, depending on how long the results last.
Planning it into a Seoul trip
This treatment is tagged "last day" at Mio because there is visible redness, marks or swelling for a few days; schedule it on your final day so it fades at home. Numbing cream, when used, adds about 30 minutes; plan 15–20 minutes with numbing cream plus consultation. See the first-day / last-day guide.
